Independiente de Oliva (La Liga) agreed terms with experienced 37-year-old point guard Jonatan Machuca (186cm-1989) for the new 2026-27 season. He played last season at La Union. In 36 La Liga games in Argentina, he had 9.3ppg, 1.8rpg, and 2.4apg. He helped them reach the Argentinian Cup Semifinals.
Machuca is a highly experienced player, having played for teams in Brazil (Luvix/Uniao Corinthians and Paschoalotto/Bauru), Chile (Ancud), Mexico (Lenadores and Panteras), Spain (Illescas), and Argentina (Gimnasia, Libertad, Ben Hur, Olimpico, and San Martin).
Machuca's team won the Interligas Cup in 2024. It's very possible that he may end his playing career at Independiente de Oliva.

Fortunato Rolfi
Maximo Benavidez
Felipe Barrionuevo

Forwards:
