There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in La Liga. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Quimsa defeated Atenas in Santiado del Estero 83-77. The former international Matias Solanas (193-1998) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points. Forward Facundo Rutenberg (195-2001) contributed with 18 points for the winners. International center Gonzalo Bressan (205-2001) replied with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds for Atenas. Atenas will play next round against Ferro trying to get back on the winning streak. Quimsa will try to continue on its current victory against Boca Juniors in Buenos Aires.
La Union recorded a loss in Comodoro Rivadavia. Visitors were defeated by Gimnasia 92-86. Chilean point guard Sebastian Carrasco (180-2000) scored 17 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Marcos Chacon chipped in 17 points during the contest. Gimnasia's coach Pablo Favarel allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. point guard Mariano Marina (185-1999) responded with 21 points and 6 rebounds. Gimnasia will play against Argentino in Junin in the next round, which may be the game of the day. La Union will have a break next round.
Very important is a road loss of Gimnasia against San Lorenzo on Thursday night. Visiting Gimnasia was defeated by San Lorenzo in Almagro 89-73. Marcos Mata notched 10 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort. Even 15 points by Emiliano Toretta did not help to save the game for Gimnasia. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. San Lorenzo will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Gimnasia will play against Argentino in Junin and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 2: La Union beat Platense on the road 90-86. Boca Juniors destroyed Obera on its own court 96-73.
