Petrolero de Plaza Huincul (La Liga Argentina) inked 22-year old guard Maximo Velez (180-97). He played most recently at Olimpico in the LDD. In 31 games he recorded very impressive stats: 15.9ppg, 3.4rpg, 3.6apg and 1.2spg last season.
The previous (17-18) season Velez played at Nicolas Avellaneda (TFB) where in 19 games he averaged 12.0ppg, 3.1rpg, 4.6apg and 1.3spg.
