Penarol Mar del Plata (La Liga) agreed terms with 25-year old power forward Rodrigo Acuna (198-95). He played last season at Racing in the La Liga Argentina. In 31 games he had 9.7ppg, 4.5rpg and 1.3bpg.
The previous (2019) summer Acuna played at La Salle Tarija (Libobasquet) in Bolivian league where in 15 games he recorded 11.1ppg, 5.5rpg and 1.5apg in 2019 season.
He has played previously for six other Argentina teams: Banda Norte, San Martin Corrientes, La Union, Regatas CU, Progreso and Sarmiento.
