BHY Tiro Federal y Deportivo Morteros (La Liga Argentina) agreed terms with 21-year old forward Jonatan Basualdo (197-99). He played last season at Barrio Parque. In 31 La Liga Argentina games he had 5.4ppg, 3.5rpg and 1.1apg.
His team made it to the Argentinian La Liga Argentina League Cup Finalist final.
The previous (18-19) season Basualdo played at Hindu where in 47 La Liga Argentina games he recorded 5.0ppg and 2.0rpg.
He represented Argentina at the World Championships U17 in Zaragoza (Spain) four years ago. His stats at that event were 6 games: 5.8ppg, 2.5rpg, 2.0spg, FGP: 47.6%, 3PT: 26.7%, FT: 42.9%.
Basualdo has played previously for two other teams: Atenas and La Union.
Despite young age Basualdo had impressive career. He was voted Latinbasket.com All-FIBA Americas U16 2nd Team back in 2015.
