Thomas Cooper joins Hispano Americano de Rio Gallegos

Hispano Americano de Rio Gallegos (La Liga) agreed terms with 28-year old American guard Thomas Cooper (196-91kg-92, college: Calgary). He joins another USA player Deremy Geiger who is already in the roster.
Cooper played last season at Sp.America in the La Liga Argentina. In 22 games he had very impressive stats: 19.8ppg, 5.4rpg, 2.5apg and 1.1spg. A very spectacular season in his career as he was named to Latinbasket.com All-Argentinian La Liga Argentina 2nd Team and All-Imports Team.
The previous (2019) summer he was tested by Saskatchewan in Canadian skatchewan Rattlers (CEBL,4rd (3)) in Canadian.
Cooper has played also professionally in Germany, Spain (Betanzos) and The Basketball Tournament (Chattanooga T.).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Cooper's team was regular season runner-up in Canada West in 2017. He was also voted All-Canada West Player of the Year back in 2016 at his college time.
He attended University of Calgary until 2017 and it will be his fourth season as a professional player.
