Martirena is back at Racing

Hector Martirena

Racing de Chivilcoy (La Liga Argentina) signed experienced 38-year old power forward Hector Martirena (198-82). It is actually his comeback to Chivilcoy as he has played here before. Martirena played last season at Derqui in the TFB. He helped them to win the Torneo Federal (Buenos Aires) title.
The previous (18-19) season Martirena played at Ferrocarril (also in TFB). He contributed to his team ending the regular season as at the second position in the league.
Martirena has played also professionally in Argentina (Estudiantes Olavarria, Banda Norte and Atletico TL), Bolivia (La Salle Tarija) and Peru (Ejercito).
It's very possible he may end his playing career at Racing.
