Fiorotto is back at Quimsa

Celia Fiorotto

Asociacion Quimsa Santiago del Estero (LaLiga) agreed terms with 28-year old Argentinian ex-international power forward Celia Fiorotto (186). It is actually her comeback to Santiado del Estero as she has played here before. Fiorotto played last summer at Bohemios in Uruguayan Liga Femenina. In 7 games she had very impressive stats: 15.7ppg, 16.7rpg, 3.1apg, 2.3spg and 1.7bpg. Good season as she was named League Player of the Week (2 times). Fiorotto also played for Quimsa.
She was also a member of Argentinian international program for some years. Fiorotto played for Argentinian Senior National Team between 2014 and 2019 and previously for U19 National Team in 2011.
She also represented Argentina at the Panamerican Games in Lima (Peru) two years ago. Her stats at that event were 3 games: 1.7ppg, 1.7rpg.
Fiorotto has played previously professionally in Argentina (Union Florida and Berazategui) and Ecuador (Santa Maria).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others she won Argentinian La Liga Clausura championship title for two years in a row (2018 and 2019). Fiorotto was also voted Latinbasket.com All-Argentinian La Liga Clausura Player of the Year and Latinbasket.com All-Argentinian La Liga Clausura Center of the Year in 2019.
