Obera inks Nicolas De los Santos

Obera Tennis Club (La Liga) signed 33-year old point guard Nicolas De los Santos (180cm) for upcoming 2021-22 season. He played last season at Boca. In 42 La Liga games he had 9.6ppg, 4.0rpg, 4.1apg and 1.6spg (in top 5). De los Santos helped them to make it to the semifinals.
The most of previous (2019-20) season he spent at Olimpico de La Banda where in 21 La Liga games he recorded 10.8ppg, 3.6rpg and 4.1apg. Good season as he was named League Player of the Week. De los Santos also played for Aaguacateros in Mexican LNBP. In 18 games he averaged 5.7ppg, 2.4rpg, 4.1apg and 1.5spg.
De los Santos was also a member of Argentinian international program for some years. He played for Argentinian Senior National Team between 2008 and 2016 and previously for U19 National Team back in 2007.
De los Santos also represented Argentina at the South American Championships in Caracas (Venezuela) five years ago. His team got to the Semifinals and his stats at that event were 6 games: 7.8ppg, 2.2rpg, Assists-5 (4.3apg), 1.2spg, FGP: 47.8%, 3PT: 33.3%, FT: 83.3%.
De los Santos has played previously professionally also in Spain (Granada and Motril) and Argentina (Gimnasia, Argentino, Regatas Corrientes and Quimsa).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others De los Santos' team won Argentinian Super 4 Cup in 2016. He was also voted Latinbasket.com All-Liga Sudamericana Honorable Mention back in 2018.
