Mario Sepulveda agreed terms with Del Progreso

Progreso de General Roca (La Liga Argentina) added to their roster experienced 43-year old 200cm forward Mario Sepulveda. He The last time (17-20) Sepulveda played at Centro Espanol de Plottier in Argentinian La Liga. He has played there for the last three years. Sepulveda missed last season due to covid-19 restrictions and had longer break from professional basketball.
He has spent his entire career in Argentina playing for eight other teams: Obras, Independiente Neuquen, Quilmes Mar del Plata, Bragado, Olimpico de La Banda, Hispano Americano de Rio Gallegos, Perfora and Petrolero.
Among many awards his team was regular season runner-up in Argentinian La Liga Argentina Conferencia Sur in 2020. Sepulveda was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Argentinian TNA Honorable Mention back in 2009 and 2016.
He is close to retirement age as a player. It may be one of last seasons in his extensive career, which Sepulveda may end at Del Progreso.
