Basualdo comes back to Atenas

Atenas Cordoba (La Liga) added to their roster 22-year old forward Jonatan Basualdo (198cm) for season 2021-22. It is actually his comeback to Cordoba as he has played here before. Basualdo played last summer at Tiro Federal in the La Liga Argentina. In 26 games he recorded 10.5ppg, 6.9rpg and 1.5apg.
He represented Argentina at the World Championships U17 in Zaragoza (Spain) five years ago. His stats at that event were 6 games: 5.8ppg, 2.5rpg, 2.0spg, FGP: 47.6%, 3PT: 26.7%, FT: 42.9%.
Basualdo has played previously for three other teams: La Union, Hindu and Barrio Parque.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team made it to the Argentinian La Liga Argentina League Cup final in 2020. He was voted to Latinbasket.com All-FIBA Americas U16 2nd Team back in 2015.
