Pergamino Basket and Jachal Basquet Club managed to win against Comunicaciones Mercedes 2nd team and Zarate Basket Independiente respectively in what was the 1st day of the Final 4 of the 2021 Torneo Federal.
Pergamino Basket beat Comunicaciones Mercedes 2nd team, 94 x 73, in the first hour, not before having had a first three quarters where Comunicaciones Mercedes 2nd team did not let them miss the game; in the end the defense and the long-distance pitches by Pergamino Basket took the best apart.
Mateo Bolivar (187-SG-92)r with 29 points, 4 assists and 4 rebounds was the most outstanding. You have to consider its intensity in the game and its effectiveness from a long distance shot. Another key contribution was that of Martin Gandoy with 23 points and 7 assists , as well as Pablo Moya with 15 units and 9 rebounds.
For Comunicaciones Mercedes 2nd team highlight players were Santiago Ibarra with 14 units and Matias Nunez (191-G/F-99) with 14 and 4 rebounds.

Jachal Basquet Club beat Zarate Basket Independiente within the second hour in an exciting 84 x 79 engagement. A game that from beginning to end those led by Alejando SAlles could have had under his dominion, not without having experienced several approaches by Zarate Basket Independiente.

We knew that it was a strong team, that they were playing and that they were never going to give up. We knew how to develop the game very well. At one point I put the team on my shoulder and put everyone to play. We knew about the Piuman-Chaine duel, the problem was that the other two players did not appear from the perimeter, Martinez said.
