Defending champion San Lorenzo de Almagra (La Liga) added to their roster 26-year old small forward Mauricio Corzo (195cm) for season 2021-22. Corzo played last season at Libertad. In 32 La Liga games he recorded 9.3ppg and 3.5rpg.
The previous (19-20) season he played at Atenas (La Liga Argentina) where in 33 games he was league's third best scorer with impressive 19.6ppg and had 5.5rpg, 1.5apg and 1.2spg. A very spectacular season in his career as he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Argentinian La Liga Argentina 2nd Team and League Player of the Week (2 times).
He has played previously for four other teams: Olimpico de La Banda, Obera, Sportivo 9 de Julio Rio Tercero and San Isidro.
His team won Argentinian La Liga Argentina North Regular Season in 2019.
