San Lorenzo de Almagra (La Liga) signed 22-year old guard Agustin Perez (192cm) for upcoming 2021-22 season. Perez played last season at Argentino. In 37 La Liga games he had 10.9ppg, 2.9rpg and 2.5apg. 2020-21 was a great season as he was voted Latinbasket.com All-Argentinian La Liga Newcomer of the Year.
The previous (19-20) season he played at Centro Espanol de Plottier (La Liga Argentina) where in 30 games he recorded very impressive stats: 17.7ppg, 4.2rpg and 3.6apg. He helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league. 2019-20 was a great season as he was selected Latinbasket.com All-Argentinian La Liga Argentina Guard of the Year, named to 1st Team and named to All-Domestic Players Team.
Perez was a member of Argentinian U16 National Team back in 2015.
He has played previously for two other teams: San Isidro and Perfora.
Perez won Argentinian Torneo Federal (Oeste) championship title in 2017.
