The most surprising game was the first loss of Comunicaciones (12-1) in Junin on Tuesday night. Visitors were defeated by eleventh ranked Argentino (7-6) 72-62. Argentino outrebounded Comunicaciones 50-34 including a 36-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for center Ezequiel Filipetti (200-1) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 16 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Important game to mention about took place in Buenos Aires. Second ranked Boca Jrs (10-1) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 6th ranked Union (9-8) 70-68 on Tuesday evening. It was an exceptional evening for Manuel Rodriguez (203-2) who led the winners and scored 22 points and 6 rebounds. Juan Contegrand accounted for 18 points and 5 rebounds. Cuban center Pedro Bombino (206-0) came up with 26 points and 8 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) for Union in the defeat. Boca Jrs have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain second place with 10-1 record having 2 victories less than leader Comunicaciones. Union at the other side dropped to the seventh position with eight games lost.

Riachuelo LR recorded a loss to Ferro on the road 82-68. La Union defeated Gimnasia on its own court 97-80. Riachuelo LR was beaten by Olimpico in La Banda 84-78. San Lorenzo won against Obras at home 74-70. Quimsa outscored Penarol on the opponent's court 92-68. San Martin rolled over H.Americano in a home game 84-60. Obras defeated Atenas on the road 82-77. Penarol was beaten by Riachuelo LR on its own court 71-74. La Union lost to Ferro in Buenos Aires 71-86.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 22 points and 5 assists by Santiago Mazza of Ferro.
