La Liga Argentina Round 32: Independ.O. defeat Libertad in the closest game of the week

Important game to mention about took place in Ceres. Sixth ranked CAO Ceres (6-1) saved a 1-point victory at home edging 4th ranked Barrio Parque (6-3) 76-75 on Thursday evening. The winners were led by Jorge Banegas (190-93, agency: BIG) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and Matias Martinez supported him with 19 points and 8 rebounds. Even 22 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals by point guard Nahuel Buchaillot (178-0) did not help to save the game for Barrio Parque. CAO Ceres have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Dep Viedma and San Isidro. Barrio Parque at the other side keeps the fourth position with three games lost. They share it with Zarate Basket. CAO Ceres will play against Rivadavia (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Barrio Parque will have a break next round.
Jachal has finally registered their first victory this season after nine consecutive losses. The win is especially important as it came on the road game in Santa Fe, where they edged Colon SF (0-8) 64-61 on Friday. The best player for the winners was Neysser Coutin who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds. Ignacio Zulberti produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds for the hosts. Colon SF's coach Ricardo De Cecco rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Jachal (1-9) left bottom position moving up to fourteenth place. It was Colon SF's eighth loss in a row. Colon SF at the other side, also newcomer in the league, still closes the standings with eight games lost.
