The most exciting game of round 37 in the La Liga Argentina took place in Villa Maria. They maintain seventh place with 6-5 record, which they share with GELP. Villa S.Martin lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with five games lost. Ameghino is looking forward to face higher ranked San Isidro (#3) in San Francisco in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Villa S.Martin will have a break next round.
An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Olavarria. First ranked Estudiantes O. faced their biggest opponent Ciclista. Host Estudiantes O. (9-2) defeated guests from Juninense (8-3) 84-79. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Ciclista. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Martin Cabrera (179-96) who helped to win the game recording 23 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. Matias Aristu contributed with 14 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Valentin Costa (182-99, agency: BIG) answered with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists for Ciclista. Ciclista's coach Daniel Jaule rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for Estudiantes O.. They maintain first place with 9-2 record. Ciclista at the other side keeps the second position with three games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

Libertad will meet league's second-placed CAO Ceres on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Barrio Parque will play against Rivadavia and hope to secure a win.

At the losing side swingman Gustavo Maranguello (190-83) responded with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and point guard Leonardo Solis (172-0) scored 20 points and 4 assists. Four Pergamino and five Del Progreso players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Pergamino. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Dep Viedma. Del Progreso lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the eleventh position with seven games lost. Pergamino will meet Dep Viedma (#5) in the next round. Del Progreso will play against Racing (#4) and hope to secure a win.

Racing dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Bahia's 34. They outrebounded Bahia 44-29 including 35 on the defensive glass. Joaquin Gamazo (198-91) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 13 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field) for the winners and Carlos Baez (-93) chipped in 8 points and 13 rebounds. At the losing side point guard Ezequiel Paz (190-1, agency: Interperformances) responded with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists (made all of his eight free throws) and Brazilian center Gabriel Novaes (208-1) scored 19 points and 5 rebounds.
