The Regular Season in LDD is slowly approaching the end. But there may be still some important changes in the final standings in the last 8 rounds. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Leader Comunicaciones delivered the twenty ninth win on Tuesday night. This time they beat 17th ranked San Lorenzo (9-19) 82-65 in Almagra. They outrebounded San Lorenzo 48-37 including 17 on the offensive glass. Comunicaciones looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Juan Bejar (186-2001) who scored 24 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Power forward Lucas Mercadino (204-2003) chipped in 15 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Juan Ramayo (185-2002) who recorded 13 points and 5 rebounds. Comunicaciones maintains first place with 29-4 record. San Lorenzo lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventeenth position with 19 games lost. Comunicaciones will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. San Lorenzo will play on the road against Quimsa (#7) in Santiago del Estero and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.

It was a good game for power forward Lucas Mercadino (204-2003) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds. Platense's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Comunicaciones maintains first place with 29-4 record. Platense lost fourteenth consecutive game. They keep the nineteenth position with 29 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
Tenth-ranked La Union (14-14) made lots of trouble for fourth ranked Boca Jrs (24-4) in Formosa on Wednesday. The visitors from Buenos Aires managed to secure only one-point victory 90-89. However their fans expected much easier game. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of La Union. Juan Guerrero stepped up and scored 26 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. The best for the losing side was Marcos Gonzalez with 19 points and 8 rebounds. La Union's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Boca Jrs have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to third place. La Union at the other side keeps the tenth position with 14 games lost. Boca Jrs will meet Obera (#4) on the road in the next round. La Union will play against Ferro (#13) and hope to secure a win.

Other games of round 33 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Olimpico was crushed by Quimsa in Santiago del Estero 84-63. Regatas smashed Ferro at home 91-71. Obras destroyed H.Americano on the opponent's court 115-54. Instituto unfortunately lost to Union in a home game 82-83. Obera managed to beat Riachuelo LR on the road 92-83. Argentino defeated Gimnasia on its own court 80-66. Ferro was beaten by San Martin in Corrientes 83-77. Olimpico won against Quimsa at home 89-79.
The best stats of 33th round was 33 points (!!!), 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals by Francisco Corradi of Quimsa.



Quimsa - Olimpico 84-63

There was no surprise in Santiago del Estero where 14th ranked Olimpico (14-17) was crushed by seventh ranked Quimsa (17-12) 84-63 on Thursday. Guard Francisco Corradi (187-2003) stepped up and scored 33 points (!!!), 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals for the winners and forward Facundo Folmer (200-2003) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds. Four Quimsa players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was guard David Perez (188-2000) with 24 points and 5 assists and Mohamed Sow scored 8 points and 12 rebounds. Olimpico's coach already knew that his team would not have a big chance, so allowed to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Quimsa maintains seventh place with 17-12 record. Olimpico at the other side dropped to the eleventh position with 17 games lost. They share it with Penarol. Quimsa will meet at home San Lorenzo (#17) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Olimpico will have a break next round.
