The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Ciclista as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Ciclista defeated 17th ranked Parque Sur in Juninense 82-70. They outrebounded Parque Sur 41-29 including 29 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Lisandro Fernandez (194-1998, agency: BIG) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 8 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Swingman Manuel Lambrisca (192-1997) contributed with 15 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. It was an exceptional evening for Ezequiel Dupuy (185-1997, agency: BIG) who led the winners and scored 26 points. The former international point guard Luis Cequeira (179-1985) accounted for 14 points, 5 rebounds, 9 assists and 5 steals for the winning side. Center Rafael Banegas (204-1992) came up with 15 points and 5 rebounds and Alvaro Yarza added 12 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Estudiantes C. in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Quilmes MP moved-up to sixth place, which they share with H.Americano. Loser Estudiantes C. dropped to the twelfth position with eight games lost. They share it with Independiente. Quilmes MP will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Estudiantes C. will play against Dep Viedma (#9) and hope to secure a win.
