Very predictable result when third ranked Zarate Basket (10-6) edged at home 11th ranked Estudiantes C. (5-8) 63-62 on Tuesday. However just one-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Strangely Estudiantes C. outrebounded Zarate Basket 46-33 including 35 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for center Sebastian Chaine (201-1986) who led the winners and scored 10 points and 8 rebounds. Agustin Brocal (191-1997) accounted for 15 points and 4 assists for the winning side. Center Rafael Banegas (204-1992) came up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and Alvaro Yarza added 9 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Estudiantes C. in the defeat. Zarate Basket maintains third place with 10-6 record behind leader Ameghino. Loser Estudiantes C. dropped to the twelfth position with eight games lost. They share it with Independiente.
