La Liga Argentina top team - Racing (14-2) added another victory to their record on Wednesday. This time they beat seventh ranked La Union (8-8) in Colon 54-50. Racing dominated down low during the game scoring 38 of its points in the paint compared to La Union's 10. It was a great evening for power forward Jose Peralta (202-1995) who led his team to a victory scoring 9 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Emilio Stucky (198-1994) helped adding 6 points and 9 rebounds. Center German Frencia (202-1988) responded with 12 points and 9 rebounds. Racing have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 14-2 record. Newly promoted La Union keeps the seventh position with eight games lost. Racing are looking forward to face Parque Sur (#17) in Concepcion de Urug. in the next round which should be an easy win for them. La Union will play on the road against Rocamora (#12) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
La Liga Argentina top team - San Isidro (16-2) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat sixteenth ranked Tucuman (4-11) in San Miguel de Tucuman 87-74. It was a quality performance for swingman Jose Montero (193-1995) who led the winners and scored 18 points and 4 assists. Federico Zezular accounted for 19 points. Guard Jose Muruaga (188-1984) came up with 17 points and 5 rebounds for Tucuman in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for San Isidro. They maintain first place with 16-2 record. Tucuman lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the sixteenth position with 11 games lost. They share it with GELP. San Isidro will play against Salta Basket (#15) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Tucuman will have a break next round.
The game in Rio Gallegos was also quite interesting. 4th placed Lanus (10-6) played at the court of fifth ranked H.Americano (9-6). H.Americano defeated Lanus 80-70 on Wednesday. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Lanus. The best player for the winners was Arnold Louis who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 16 rebounds. Phil Bledsoe produced 26 points for the guests. Lanus' coach Sebastian Saborido rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for H.Americano. They maintain fifth place with 9-6 record. Lanus at the other side keeps the fourth position with six games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 23: Pico FC lost to Zarate Basket on the opponent's court 75-82. Jachal outscored Salta Basket in a home game 91-65. Salta Basket managed to beat Rivadavia on the road 81-75. Libertad was defeated by Villa S.Martin on its own court 72-83. Montmartre was beaten by GEPU in San Luis 69-67. Pilar destroyed Pico FC at home 88-62. Echague unfortunately lost to Dep Norte on the opponent's court 58-71.
