The games at this stage are more interesting as they can be crucial for the final standings in Regular Season. Despite we already know who is stronger and who is weaker, there may be still last minute surprises and upsets. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Buenos Aires: Boca (#6) and Obras (#7). Obras was defeated at home 81-93 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. The former international Leonardo Mainoldi (205-1985) orchestrated the victory by scoring 12 points and 9 rebounds. The former international Leonel Schattmann (193-1987) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Uruguayan forward Joaquin Rodriguez (198-1999, agency: Pro Sports) answered with 16 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for Obras. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Boca (21-11) have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They moved-up to fifth place. Obras lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 13 games lost. Boca are looking forward to face Olimpico (#6) in La Banda in the next round. Obras will play at home against the league's second-placed Quimsa and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
An interesting game for Gimnasia (24-10) which hosted in Comodoro Rivadavia their close opponent Quimsa (24-10). Third ranked Gimnasia managed to get a 4-point victory 81-77. American guard Tyrone White (201-1990, college: CSUB) stepped up and scored 24 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and Yoanki Mensia chipped in 21 points. The former international forward Fabian Ramirez (200-1990) responded with 18 points. Quimsa's coach Juan Manuel Cordoba tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Gimnasia moved-up to second place, which they share with defeated Quimsa. Gimnasia will play against Argentino (#16) in Junin in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Quimsa will play on the road against Obras (#7) in Buenos Aires and hopes to get back on the winning track.
Bottom-ranked Atenas managed to get the third consecutive victory on Sunday night. This time they won against fourth-ranked Obera in Cordoba 96-86.
