Argentino Junin (La Liga) inked experienced 38-year old former Argentinian-Italian international 203cm power forward Alejandro Alloatti for upcoming season. Alloatti is the second import player in the roster as USA Manny Payton signed here earlier.
He was about to sign at Libertad in the TFB.
He was a member of Argentinian international program for some years. He was called to Argentinian Senior National Team between 2001 and 2011 and previously for U21 National Team back in 2005.
Alloatti has played previously professionally also in Spain (Valladolid, Huelva Comercio Viridis, Plasencia and VGO Basket Vigo) and Argentina (Obras, Penarol, Boca, Lanus and Ameghino). His team was regular season runner-up in Argentinian LigaA in 2008 and 2012.
Among many awards he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Argentinian LigaA Honorable Mention back in 2015.
It may be one of last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Argentino.
