Gimnasia y Esgrima Comodoro Rivadavia (La Liga) has signed Juan Cardenas, a 26-year-old Colombian ex-international point guard. Cardenas, who stands at 201cm and weighs 91kg, played for Titanes-de-Barranquilla/49481" class="btn btn-small pull-left pop-right tooltipstered" data-trigger="hover" data-toggle="popover" data-content="" id="team49481">Titanes in the Colombian Liga WPlay last season. In 20 Liga Wplay games, he averaged 7.7ppg and 3.6rpg, helping his team win the league title twice. He also played 5 games in the Liga Sudamericana, recording 7.6ppg, 4.2rpg, and 1.0spg. Cardenas briefly played for another Colombian team, Cafeteros, in the Liga Wplay. He was a member of the Colombian Senior National Team from 2020 to 2021.
He graduated from Bryant University in 2020, and this is his fourth season as a professional player.
