Horacio Rigada claims Argentinian La Liga Argentina weekly honour

Horacio Rigada had a great game in the last round for league's leader Club Sportivo Suardi and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents La Liga Argentina Player of the Week award for round 19.
The had the game-high 19 points adding nine rebounds and five assists for Suardi in his team's victory, helping them to beat Rivadavia (#7, 7-4) 91-82. It allowed Suardi to consolidate first place in the Argentinian La Liga Argentina. Suardi have a solid 12-2 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Rigada as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Horacio Rigada averages this season 7.9ppg and 5.7rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Franco Pennacchiotti (205-C/F-1990) of Villa Mitre de Bahia Blanca. Pennacchiotti is a newcomer at Villa Mitre and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.4ppg (#5). He also registered 13.5 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was Facundo Gago (178-PG-1996) of La Union Colon (#11). Gago scored 19 points and passed 7 assists. He was a key player of La Union, leading his team to a 81-73 win against the higher-ranked Provincial (#6, 8-8). The chances of La Union ranking at the top of Conferencia Sur, however are very questionable as they have already lost 8 games, recording just seven victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Gago could help La Union to bring them higher in the standings. Gago has a very solid season. In 15 games in Argentina he scored 9.1ppg.
