Prome's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

18-year old forward Tiziano Prome (201-F-2005) had a very impressive game in the last round for second-ranked Boca Juniors Buenos Aires and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 15.
He had a double-double of 29 points and 10 rebounds, while his team crushed San Martin (#20, 1-15) with 23-point margin 81-58. Boca maintains the 2nd position in Argentinian league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Boca will need more victories to improve their 12-5 record. In the team's last game Prome had a remarkable 78.6% from 2-point range. He turned to be Boca's top player in his first season with the team. Tiziano Prome averages this season 13.5ppg and 6.7rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Franco Gimenez) of La Union Formosa. He is a in his second season at La Union. In the last game Gimenez recorded an impressive 27 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists. It was enough for La Union to edge slightly higher-ranked Union (#13, 6-8) by 5 points 84-79. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. But La Union managed to improve slightly their position in standings taking 14th place. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 5-7 record. Gimenez is well-known at La Union and he already established his position as one of the team's leaders.

Third place about best performers goes to Mateo Rearte (2006) of Comunicaciones Mercedes 2nd team (#7). Rearte got into 30-points club by scoring 33 points in the last round. He was a key player of Comunicaciones, leading his team to a 95-66 easy win against the lower-ranked Zarate (#18, 3-9). Comunicaciones needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 10 victories and 6 lost games. Rearte has a very solid season. In 15 games in Argentina he scored 15.3ppg. He also has 5.8rpg and a FGP of 58.1%.
