The most exciting game of round 20 in the LDD took place in Formosa. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 16th ranked Penarol (6-12) to fifteenth ranked La Union (7-9) 100-99 on Saturday evening. 28 personal fouls committed by Penarol helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Franco Gimenez who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 8 rebounds and Lisandro Bernabei (-2005) who added 24 points during the contest. La Union's coach Mario Martinez used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Forward Nicolas Chiaraviglio (199-2004) responded with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 13 rebounds. La Union moved-up to fourteenth place. Penarol at the other side keeps the sixteenth position with 12 games lost.
