It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Ameghino. Joaquin Rios notched 23 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort. Even 22 points and 8 rebounds by Juan Luis Abeiro did not help to save the game for Ameghino. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Lanus have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 22-7 record. Loser Ameghino keeps the eleventh place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Independiente. Lanus will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Ameghino will play against Villa Mitre (#5) and hope to secure a win.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 42: GELP was beaten by Ciclista on the road 79-69. Rocamora won against H.Americano on its own court 80-74. Quilmes MP managed to outperform U.Mar del Plata in Mar del Plata 84-83. Rivadavia managed to beat Echague at home 79-75. H.Americano was defeated by La Union on the opponent's court 84-72. Racing beat GELP in a home game 81-64. Dep Norte destroyed Jachal on the road 94-62.



Ciclista - GELP 79-69

No shocking result in a game when twelfth ranked Ciclista (11-15) beat 15th ranked GELP (9-19) in Junin 79-69 on Tuesday. Ciclista dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to GELP's 30. Aaron Pablo (200-2000) notched 23 points and 6 assists (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and forward Jonatan Basualdo (198-1999) supported him with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Ciclista's coach Daniel Jaule used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 21 points and 5 rebounds by point guard Alan Moreno (185-1997, agency: BIG) did not help to save the game for GELP. Guard Juan Lancieri (189-1995) added 9 points and 7 rebounds.
