Franco Gimenez) had an amazing evening in the last round for La Union Formosa, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 31.
The player was the main contributor (27 points, six rebounds and six assists) to his team's victory, helping them to beat San Martin (#19, 4-23) 77-70. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Thanks to this victory La Union moved-up to the 17th position in Argentinian LDD. La Union is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 9-17 record. In the team's last game Gimenez had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. It's his second year at La Union and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Franco Gimenez averages this season 17.7ppg and 6.5rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was young Enzo Facelli (2003) of Ciclista Olimpico de La Banda. Facelli had a very good evening with 29 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Bad luck as Olimpico lost that game 73-105 to the higher-ranked Independ.O. (#5, 19-9). This loss caused Olimpico to slide to the very bottom (20) position in the standings. 24 lost games are too many comparing to just three victories Olimpico managed to get this year. Facelli is one of the most experienced players at Olimpico and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was swingman Diego Collomb (192-G/F-2004) of Quimsa Santiago del Estero (#11). Collomb showcased his all-around game by recording 24 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Quimsa, leading his team to a 88-67 easy win against slightly higher-ranked Obera (#10, 15-14). Quimsa needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 12 victories and 12 lost games. Collomb has a great season in Argentina. After 12 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.6ppg (7th best).
