They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Platense. Olimpico at the other side keeps the third position with ten games lost. Obras is looking forward to face Riachuelo (#12) in La Rioja in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Olimpico will have a break next round.
La Liga top team - Quimsa (26-5) had no problems winning another game. This time they beat eighteenth ranked La Union (10-23) in Santiado del Estero 92-76. Bruno Sansimoni (194-1996) notched 27 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and Juan Brussino supported him with 9 points and 7 rebounds. Even a double-double of 15 points and 11 rebounds by American power forward Kwame Alexander (201-1990, college: CSUSB, agency: BIG) did not help to save the game for La Union. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Quimsa have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 26-5 record. La Union lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the seventeenth place with 23 games lost. Quimsa will play against Argentino (#19) in Junin in the next round which should be an easy win for them. La Union will have a break next round.

Loser San Lorenzo keeps the fourth position with 11 games lost. Penarol will meet higher ranked Gimnasia (#8) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. San Lorenzo will play against Zarate (#14) and hope to secure a win.
In the last two games of round 38 Instituto won against Obera on the opponent's court 83-72. Riachuelo unfortunately lost to La Union in a home game 75-90.
