They dropped to the bottom. Union will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Comunicaciones will play on the road against Argentino (#19) in Junin and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Penarol (17-20) and Ferro (16-21), which took place in Mar del Plata. 11th ranked Penarol lost at home to fourteenth ranked Ferro 70-86. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Penarol. It was a great evening for swingman Valentin Bettiga (189-1999) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points and 9 rebounds. Rodrigo Gallegos helped adding 13 points and 5 assists. Ferro's coach Federico Fernandez allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. They moved-up to thirteenth place. Penarol at the other side dropped to the twelfth position with 20 games lost. Regatas' coach Fernando Calvi used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kevin Hernandez came up with 13 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for San Lorenzo in the defeat. Regatas maintains eleventh place with 18-19 record. Loser San Lorenzo keeps the fourth position with 14 games lost. They share it with San Martin. Regatas will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. San Lorenzo will play against La Union (#16) in Formosa and hope to secure a win.
