American guard Marcus Thomas (191-1995, college: Rosemont) answered with 24 points and 5 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and the other American import forward Justin Strings (201-1996, college: Sacramento St.) added 16 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Comunicaciones. Comunicaciones' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Union (10-27) moved-up to eighteenth place, which they share with Argentino. Comunicaciones lost tenth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom.
