The most crucial game of the last round was another loss of top-ranked Gimnasia CR (29-5) in Comodoro Rivadavia on Wednesday night. Hosts were defeated by third ranked Boca Jrs (27-9) 83-71. Boca Jrs. dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Gimnasia CR's 32. Boca Jrs. forced 22 Gimnasia turnovers. It was a great evening for Nicolas Stenta (200-2004) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks. Forward Tiziano Prome (201-2005) helped adding 24 points and 9 rebounds. At the losing side Dominican swingman Angel Reyes (201-2002) responded with 20 points and 9 rebounds. Boca Jrs have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. Boca Jrs. maintains third place with 27-9 record despite having the same number of points like the leader Gimnasia. Gimnasia at the other side still keeps top position with five games lost. Boca Jrs. are looking forward to face Comunicaciones (#9) in Mercedes in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Gimnasia will play on the road against Olimpico (#20) in La Banda and is hoping to win this game.
The game in Buenos Aires was also worth to mention about. Fifth ranked Independ.O. (24-13) played at the court of 7th ranked Ferro (21-15). Independ.O. managed to secure a 7-point victory 96-89. Ferro's coach Jonathan Laino rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Despite that victory Independ.O. went down to sixth position due to points difference. Ferro lost their third game in a row. They keep the seventh place with 15 games lost. Independ.O. will play against Platense (#14) in Florida in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Ferro will play at home against Zarate (#18) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
An interesting game took place in Formosa where higher ranked San Lorenzo (15-21) was upset on the court of sixteenth ranked La Union (13-21) 95-79 on Wednesday. Franco Chir fired 26 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. La Union's coach Mario Martinez used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Thiago Roca produced 23 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. La Union moved-up to fifteenth place. Loser San Lorenzo dropped to the thirteenth position with 21 games lost. La Union will meet at home league's second-placed Obras in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. San Lorenzo will have a break next round.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 43: Independ.O. lost to Boca Jrs. on the opponent's court 80-95. Union managed to outperform Comunicaciones in a home game 73-67. San Lorenzo managed to beat Regatas on the road 79-70. Zarate was defeated by Comunicaciones on its own court 71-76. Platense beat Olimpico in Florida 74-57. San Martin lost to Obras at home 70-87. Obera unfortunately lost to Riachuelo on the opponent's court 73-89. Penarol managed to beat Independ.O. in a home game 81-73.
