The round was exceptionally exciting as three games ended with a tiny margin. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most important game in the last round took place in Corrientes between third ranked Boca Jrs (27-11) and nineteenth ranked San Martin (5-29) on Monday night. Boca Jrs was defeated by San Martin in a tough game on the road 58-63. The best player for the winners was Geronimo Ramallo who had a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Luciano Lemos chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds. San Martin's coach Diego Blanco used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Forward Tiziano Prome (201-2005) produced 9 points and 14 rebounds for the guests. San Martin maintains nineteenth position with 5-29 record. Boca Jrs. at the other side keeps the third place with 11 games lost.
Very important is a road loss of third ranked Boca Jrs (27-11) against ninth ranked Comunicaciones (21-14) on Wednesday night. Visiting Boca Jrs was edged by Comunicaciones in a tough game in Mercedes 100-101. Mateo Rearte (-2006) saved the victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 14 rebounds. Marcos Panozzo contributed with 15 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Forward Tiziano Prome (201-2005) replied with a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 4 assists for Boca Jrs.Comunicaciones have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to eighth place. Boca Jrs. at the other side keeps the third position with 11 games lost.
Leader Gimnasia CR delivered the 31th victory on Sunday night. This time they beat 12th ranked Quimsa (16-18) 98-87 in Santiago del Estero. Worth to mention a quality performance of Angel Reyes who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds. Matias Pikaluk responded with 28 points. Quimsa's coach Marcelo Zanni rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Gimnasia maintains first position with 31-5 record. Quimsa lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh place with 18 games lost.

Rest of the games of round 44 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:

Regatas was outscored by Obras in a home game 55-90. Zarate was rolled over Ferro on the road 93-61. Bottom-ranked Olimpico was defeated by Gimnasia on its own court 75-81. Obras smashed La Union in Buenos Aires 106-69. Independ.O. lost to Platense at home 74-75. Bottom-ranked Olimpico was outscored by Quimsa on the opponent's court 60-86.

Argentino - Comunicaciones 80-81

There was no surprise in Junin where 16th ranked Argentino (13-24) was edged by ninth ranked Comunicaciones (21-14) 81-80 on Friday. Comunicaciones outrebounded Argentino 40-29 including 30 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Agustin Bruner (188-2004) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 7 rebounds and Yosel Perez who added 12 points and 12 rebounds during the contest.
