There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in La Liga. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Zarate in Buenos Aires on Saturday night. Visitors were rolled over by Boca 88-61. Boca outrebounded Zarate 43-32 including a 34-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was the former international point guard Jose Vildoza (191-1996, agency: Octagon Europe) who scored 17 points and 5 rebounds. International swingman Martin Cuello (193-1993) chipped in 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Edgar Merchant (200-2002) produced 12 points for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Boca is looking forward to face Quimsa in Santiado del Estero in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Zarate will play at home against Independ.O. and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
The game in Mar del Plata was also worth to mention about. Obera played at the court of Penarol. Obera did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 97-78. American forward Will Vorhees (203-1995, college: NDC) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points and 7 rebounds. Jose Ascanio contributed with 17 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Obera's coach Fabio Demti allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American forward Al Thornton (203-1983, college: FSU, agency: BIG) replied with 19 points and 7 rebounds for Penarol. Obera will play against Argentino in Junin in the next round. Penarol will have a break next round.
A very close game took place in La Banda between Olimpico and Regatas. Olimpico got a very close home victory over Regatas. Olimpico managed to escape with a 3-point win 89-86 on Monday evening. Jose Defelippo scored 20 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners. Federico Elias responded with 20 points. Regatas' coach Fernando Calvi rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Olimpico will meet at home Boca in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Regatas will play against Riachuelo in La Rioja and hope to win that game.

Rest of the games of round 2 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Instituto crushed San Martin in Cordoba 76-54. Boca smashed Union at home 99-72. Independ.O. lost to Gimnasia on the opponent's court 83-97. Winless Platense unfortunately lost to Independ.O. in a home game 83-87. Instituto managed to beat La Union on the road 85-79.
The best stats of 2nd round was 24 points and 9 rebounds by Nicola Pomoli of Instituto.
