Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Lanus as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Lanus defeated 5th ranked H.Americano in Buenos Aires 78-67. Lanus forced 19 H.Americano turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American forward Matt Dade (198, college: Millersville) fired 28 points and 4 assists (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners. Center Sebastian Chaine (206-1986) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds. Lanus' coach Sebastian Saborido used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Brazilian center Romulo Gusmao (208-1995) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 14 rebounds for lost side. Lanus have a solid series of four victories in a row. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. H.Americano lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with three games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
Undefeated Independiente (5-1) recorded its first loss in Resistencia. Visitors were defeated by sixth ranked Villa S.Martin (2-2) 68-64. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Independiente. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Estefano Simondi (201-1996) who helped to win the game recording 9 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Cristian Scaramuzzino contributed with 12 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Cristian Amicucci (200-1985) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds for Independiente. Villa S.Martin moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Montmartre. Independiente at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
A very close game took place in Junin between Quilmes and Ciclista. Fourth ranked Quilmes (2-1) got a very close victory on the road over 3rd placed Ciclista (2-3). Quilmes managed to escape with a 3-point win 78-75 on Sunday evening. It was a great evening for Tomas Verbauwede who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). At the losing side Elian Centeno responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 17 rebounds. Ciclista's coach Daniel Jaule rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Quilmes moved-up to third place, which they share with San Isidro and Racing Ch. Ciclista lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

Other games of round 7 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Villa Mitre was defeated by Racing Ch. in Chivilcoy 73-57. Comunicaciones smashed Estudiantes T. at home 103-71. Dep Viedma won against Pergamino on the opponent's court 89-81. Pico FC outscored U.Mar del Plata in a home game 82-62. Rivadavia managed to beat Dep Norte on the road 69-64.

Ciclista - Quilmes 75-78

A very close game took place in Junin between Quilmes and Ciclista. Fourth ranked Quilmes (2-1) got a very close victory on the road over 3rd placed Ciclista (2-3). Quilmes managed to escape with a 3-point win 78-75 on Sunday evening. Strangely Ciclista outrebounded Quilmes 39-27 including 24 on the defensive glass. It was a great shooting night for Quilmes especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. It was a great evening for forward Tomas Verbauwede (198-1999) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). The former international Juan De La Fuente (195-2000) helped adding 19 points. At the losing side Venezuelan Elian Centeno (200-2000) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 17 rebounds and point guard Matias Alluchon (185-2000) scored 17 points. Racing Ch. outrebounded Villa Mitre 49-38 including a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for power forward Jose Peralta (202-1995) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds. Point guard Alejo Barrales (174-1991) helped adding 13 points. At the losing side power forward Franco Pennacchiotti (205-1990) responded with 18 points and 7 rebounds and Mateo Beigier (187-2001) scored 8 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Racing Ch. moved-up to third place, which they share with Quilmes and San Isidro. No shocking result in a game in Mercedes where third ranked Comunicaciones (3-1) smashed bottom-ranked Estudiantes T. (0-4) 103-71 on Sunday. Comunicaciones dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Estudiantes T.'s 36 and made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. Comunicaciones had a 35-24 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Estudiantes T.'s players. It was a great evening for naturalized Italian center Damian Tintorelli (205-1981) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points and 5 rebounds. Matias Eidintas (186-1995) helped adding 19 points.
