Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Quimsa in Rio Cuarto on Sunday night. Visitors were edged by Gorriones 65-62. Guard Valentina Numa (173-2000, agency: BIG) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points and 8 rebounds. Lucia Pispieiro contributed with 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Lorena Campos (171-1999) replied with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for Quimsa.
Important game to mention about took place in James Craik. Chanares saved a 2-point victory at home edging Montmartre 78-76 in the game for the third place. Naturalized Italian point guard Regina Carosio (165-1986) had a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals to lead the charge for the winners and Janet Banegas chipped in 13 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Chanares' coach Norberto Yanez allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Swingman Maria Acevedo (170-1993) responded with a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 13 rebounds.
An interesting game for Obras which hosted in Buenos Aires N.Avellaneda R.. Obras had an easy win 82-41. Nicole Tapari notched 13 points to lead the effort. Even 12 points by Sofia Gonzalez did not help to save the game for N.Avellaneda R.. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Obras' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Buenos Aires to the arena Ferro.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 2: winless Union Florida lost to undefeated Ferro on the road 58-76. El Talar won against Rocamora on its own court 67-59. Berazategui managed to outperform Lanus in Buenos Aires 58-51.
