The game between closely ranked teams ended withFerro 's home victory over Union Florida in Buenos Aires 76-58 on Sunday. Ferro forced 24 Union Florida turnovers. Forward Stefania Lucero (172-1993, agency: BIG) notched 28 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international center Florencia Fernandez (189-1986) supported her with 17 points and 7 rebounds. Even a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds by center Victoria Michel (182-2003) did not help to save the game for Union Florida . Swingman Lara Leivas (169-2001) added 13 points and 5 steals for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
