Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.
The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Buenos Aires: Obras (#1) and Berazategui (#5). Berazategui was defeated at home 71-75 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Obras outrebounded Berazategui 44-33 including 35 on the defensive glass. 24 personal fouls committed by Berazategui helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of international Candela Gentinetta (181-2001) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds. The former international guard Valeria Fernandez (165-1998) contributed with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Guard Laila Raviolo (180-2000, agency: BIG) replied with 24 points and 8 rebounds (made all of her thirteen free throws !!!) for Berazategui. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Obras have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 11-2 record. Berazategui lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Rocamora. Obras are looking forward to face Rocamora (#5) in Concepcion de Urug. in the next round.
