The most exciting game of round 29 in the La Liga took place in Buenos Aires. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Quimsa. The former international Agustin Barreiro (205-1999) saved the victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds. Jonatan Torresi contributed with 19 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Bahamas center Tavario Miller (203-1994, college: Texas A&M) answered with 19 points and 8 rebounds for Quimsa. Quimsa's coach Leandro Ramella tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Obera moved-up to fourth place, which they share with defeated Quimsa. Obera will play against Zarate (#19) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Quimsa will play against Penarol (#12) in Mar del Plata and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Dominique Morrison responded with 21 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Gimnasia have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They moved-up to ninth place. Union at the other side dropped to the seventh position with 15 games lost. Gimnasia will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Union will play against Instituto (#8) in Cordoba and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Other games of round 29 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
