Boca will play against Obera (#6) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Atenas will have a break next round.
A very close game took place in Comodoro Rivadavia between Gimnasia and San Martin. Ninth ranked Gimnasia (16-12) got a very close home victory over 12th ranked San Martin (16-15). Gimnasia managed to escape with a 2-point win 74-72 in the game for the eighth place. Worth to mention a great performance of Andre Nation who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 5 rebounds. Gimnasia's coach Martin Villagran used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Samuel Givens responded with 18 points and 8 rebounds. Gimnasia have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They moved-up to eighth place. Loser San Martin dropped to the ninth position with 15 games lost. They share it with Regatas. Gimnasia will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. San Martin will play against the league's second-placed Riachuelo (#2) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
