Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most exciting game of round 34 in the La Liga took place in La Banda. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 12th ranked Olimpico (15-16) to sixth ranked Obras (18-12) 81-79 on Monday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. American forward Chris Clarke (196-1996, college: Texas Tech, agency: Interperformances) had a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Chilean point guard Felipe Inyaco (192-2002) chipped in 19 points during the contest. At the losing side American swingman David Shriver (198-2000, college: VCU) responded with 18 points and 5 rebounds. Obras maintains sixth position with 18-12 record. Olimpico at the other side keeps the twelfth place with 16 games lost. They share the position with Penarol. Obras are looking forward to face higher ranked Riachuelo (#3) in La Rioja in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Olimpico will have a break next round.

San Martin (17-16) was upset by fifteenth ranked San Lorenzo (17-16) in Corrientes. San Lorenzo won against higher ranked San Martin 73-64 on Monday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of San Martin. Ivan Basualdo fired a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Dario Hunt produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds for lost side. San Lorenzo maintains fifteenth position with 13-17 record. Loser San Martin dropped to the ninth place with 16 games lost. San Lorenzo will meet La Union (#18) in the next round. San Martin will play against Independ.O. (#16) in Olivia and hope to secure a win.

There were no shocking results in the other games in round 34: Union lost to Obera on the opponent's court 80-96. Instituto outscored Zarate in a home game 92-69. Zarate managed to beat Independ.O. on the road 96-91. La Union was defeated by Riachuelo on its own court 69-78. Bottom-ranked Argentino was smashed by Gimnasia in Comodoro Rivadavia 113-74. Regatas won against San Lorenzo at home 88-78. Obras was outscored by Quimsa on the opponent's court 96-72.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 26 points and 7 rebounds by Tavario Miller of Quimsa.



Regatas - Riachuelo LR 81-77

The former international Agustin Barreiro (205-1999) fired a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Point guard Juan Laterza (180-1997) chipped in 19 points and 7 assists. Cuban center Pedro Bombino (206-2000) produced 15 points and 8 rebounds and American Dominique Morrison (198-1989, college: ORU, agency: Haylett Sports) added 18 points respectively for lost side. Five Obera and four Union players scored in double figures. Union SF's coach Maximiliano Seigorman rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Obera maintains fourth position with 20-12 record. Loser Union SF dropped to the tenth place with 18 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
