It was an exceptional evening for Santino Mazzucchelli who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds. Octavio Donzino came up with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds for Boca Jrs. in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Platense will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Boca Jrs will play against Independ.O. (#14) in Olivia and hope to secure a win.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 3: Regatas lost to undefeated Obras on the road 66-80. Gimnasia won against San Martin on its own court 71-59. Regatas managed to outperform Penarol in Corrientes 86-72. Winless Racing Ch. recorded a loss to Ferro at home 59-67.
The most impressive performance of 3rd round was 21 points and 5 steals by Camilo Rodriguez of Ferro.




Obras - Regatas 80-66

There was a small surprise when Obras (1-0) beat Regatas (2-2) in Buenos Aires 80-66 on Wednesday. Obras outrebounded Regatas 50-32 including a 39-27 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for who led the winners and scored 12 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. point guard Juan Respaud (190-2005) accounted for 16 points and 5 assists for the winning side. Obras' coach let to play all 12 players saving starting five for next games.
