Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Instituto (2-1) recorded a loss in Olivia on Thursday night. Visitors were defeated by Independ.O. (1-0) 93-86. 24 personal fouls committed by Instituto helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was who scored 19 points and 8 rebounds. chipped in 14 points. Independ.O.'s coach Martin Gonzalez used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was naturalized Italian point guard Gaston Whelan (187-1994) who recorded 15 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. Independ.O. will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Instituto will play at home against Boca Juniors (#1) and is hoping to win this game.
Very important is a road loss of Regatas (3-1) against Obras (1-0) on Thursday night. Visiting Regatas was defeated by Obras in Buenos Aires 85-75. It was a good game for American guard Ty Sabin (190-1994, college: Ripon) who led his team to a victory with 23 points. Federico Zezular contributed with 26 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners. Dominican center Luis Santos (203-1994, college: St.Louis) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) for Regatas. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Obras will play against Olimpico (#10) in La Banda in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Regatas will have a break next round.
Boca Juniors delivered the third consecutive victory on Saturday night. This time they beat Platense (0-1) 97-87 in Florida. It was a great evening for Fidel Cifuentes who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). The best for the losing side was Johnny Hughes III with 17 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Boca Juniors will meet Instituto (#4) in the next round. Platense will have a break next round.

Other games of round 3 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
San Lorenzo was defeated by La Union in Formosa 89-79. Gimnasia beat San Martin at home 81-65. Regatas won against Penarol on the opponent's court 84-80. Winless Racing Ch. lost to undefeated Ferro in a home game 79-89.

Independ.O. - Instituto 93-86

There was an upset in Formosa where San Lorenzo (1-2) was defeated by La Union (1-1) 89-79 on Thursday. It was a great shooting night for La Union especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. It was a great evening for the former international forward Alexis Elsener (195-1988, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points and 6 rebounds. point guard Tomas Spano (183-1998) helped adding 16 points. Elsener is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four La Union players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Augusto Alonso (187-1998, agency: BIG) with 16 points and the former international guard Selem Safar (191-1987) scored 17 points. San Lorenzo's coach Sebastian Burtin rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. La Union will meet Obera (#7) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. San Lorenzo will have a break next round.

Gimnasia's coach Pablo Favarel allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games.
