A very close game took place in Santiado del Estero between San Jose and Quimsa. San Jose got a very close victory on the road over Quimsa. San Jose managed to escape with a 3-point win 65-62 on Thursday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Ashia McCalla notched a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the effort. Even 21 points and 8 rebounds by Lorena Campos did not help to save the game for Quimsa. There were no big surprises in other games of round 2: winless Independiente was beaten by Ferro on the road 78-64. Bochas lost to Chanares on its own court 72-85. El Talar managed to outperform Obras in Caba 69-60. Gorriones managed to beat Chanares at home 73-55. Winless Independiente was defeated by Union Florida on the opponent's court 65-54. San Jose lost to undefeated Hindu in a home game 54-60. Instituto lost to Quimsa on the road 73-85.
