A very close game took place in Santiado del Estero between San Jose and Quimsa. San Jose got a very close victory on the road over Quimsa. San Jose managed to escape with a 3-point win 65-62 on Thursday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Ashia McCalla notched a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the effort. Even 21 points and 8 rebounds by Lorena Campos did not help to save the game for Quimsa. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 2: winless Independiente was beaten by Ferro on the road 78-64. Bochas lost to Chanares on its own court 72-85. El Talar managed to outperform Obras in Caba 69-60. Gorriones managed to beat Chanares at home 73-55. Winless Independiente was defeated by Union Florida on the opponent's court 65-54. San Jose lost to undefeated Hindu in a home game 54-60. Instituto lost to Quimsa on the road 73-85.

Ferro - Independiente 78-64

No shocking result in a game when Ferro beat Independiente in Buenos Aires 78-64 on Thursday.
