Caffaro's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

25-year old center Francisco Caffaro (216-C-2000) put on an amazing game in the last round for Boca Juniors Buenos Aires and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
He had a double-double of 22 points and 10 rebounds, while his team edged out La Union (#5, 4-3) 80-77. Boca Juniors is placed at 3rd position in Argentinian league. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Boca Juniors will need more victories to improve their 4-2 record. Caffaro turned to be Boca Juniors' top player in his first season with the team. Santa Clara University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Caffaro is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 9.5rpg) and averages solid 57.4% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Santiago Ferreyra (188-PG-1997) of Atenas Cordoba. He is a guard in his first season at Atenas. In the last game Ferreyra recorded an impressive 26 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists. It was enough for Atenas to edge the lower-ranked Olimpico (#13, 2-3) by 3 points 87-84. This victory allowed Atenas to move up to 4th position in the standings. His team's 4-3 record is not bad at all. Ferreyra is a newcomer at Atenas and despite he is not a team leader yet, every game he becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Facundo Rutenberg (195-F-2001) of San Lorenzo de Almagro (#17). Rutenberg showcased his all-around game by recording 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists in the last round. Despite Rutenberg's great performance the San Lorenzo lost 86-89 to the higher-ranked Instituto (#1, 5-2). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Rutenberg has individually a great season in Argentina. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 16.2ppg (5th best).

9. Nicolas Copello (193-G-1992) of Instituto - 25 points and 5 rebounds
10. Alexis Elsener (195-F-1988) of La Union - 17 points and 8 rebounds
