Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Hindu as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Hindu defeated 3rd placed Chanares in Chaco 60-54. orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks. contributed with 11 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Naturalized Italian point guard Regina Carosio (165-1986) answered with 23 points and 5 rebounds for Chanares. Chanares' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Undefeated Hindu (6-0) have an impressive series of six victories in a row. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Chanares at the other side keeps the third place with three games lost. Chanares will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest in order to get back on the winning path. Hindu will try to continue on its current victory against second ranked Instituto in Cordoba.
An interesting game for Instituto (6-1) which hosted in Cordoba 3rd placed Chanares (4-3). Second ranked Instituto managed to get a 7-point victory 72-65. The former international power forward Giselle Botta (180-1999) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds for the winners and Maria Acevedo chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Stefania Lucero (172-1993, agency: BIG) responded with 20 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Instituto. They maintain second place with 6-1 record having just one victory less than leader Hindu. Chanares at the other side keeps the third position with three games lost. Instituto will play against league's leader Hindu in Chaco in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Chanares will play on the road against the league's leader Hindu in Chaco and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
El Bigua's fans can celebrate the first win of their team after four consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Berazategui (2-4) 80-70 on Tuesday. Agustina Garcia nailed 24 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Sofia Acevedo came up with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for Berazategui in the defeat. Newly promoted El Bigua maintains seventh place with 1-4 record, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Berazategui dropped to the sixth position with four games lost. They share it with Riachuelo and Independiente. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 5: Rocamora was smashed by El Talar on the road 74-43. Riachuelo was destroyed by Instituto on its own court 50-74. Ferro managed to outperform Lanus in Buenos Aires 63-55. Independiente recorded a loss to Obras at home 54-68. Berazategui was defeated by Independiente on the opponent's court 72-65. El Bigua was beaten by Obras in a home game 70-86.

El Talar - Rocamora 74-43

No shocking result in a game when first ranked El Talar (4-1) crushed 6th ranked Rocamora (2-3) in Caba 74-43 on Sunday. El Talar held Rocamora to an opponent 23.9 percent shooting from the field compared to 46.8 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Rocamora 55-24 including a 16-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. El Talar looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Rocamora's players. American power forward Jazmyn Turner (188-2001, college: IUPUI) nailed a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side and the former international point guard Luciana Delabarba (167-1997) accounted for 9 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. El Talar's coach felt very confident using 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. The former international power forward Giselle Botta (180-1999) came up with 11 points and 8 rebounds and added 8 points and 6 assists respectively for Rocamora in the defeat. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for El Talar. Despite that victory El Talar went down to second position due to points difference, which they share with Ferro. Rocamora lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the fifth place with three games lost. They share the position with Avellaneda. El Talar will meet at home Lanus (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Rocamora will have a break next round.

The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Instituto.
