The most exciting game of round 14 in the La Liga Argentina took place in Mercedes. Even a double-double of 14 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists by Bolivian forward Gonzalo Romero (196-1997) did not help to save the game for La Union. GELP have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. La Union at the other side dropped to the fifth position with two games lost. They share it with Salta Basket. GELP will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. La Union will play at home against the league's leader Quilmes (#1) and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Santa Paula - Caroya 91-75

Caroya (#5) was upset in Galvez by eighth ranked Santa Paula 91-75. Santa Paula forced 22 Caroya turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was Jeronimo Diaz who scored 17 points and 8 assists. Gino Balbo chipped in 17 points.
