Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The game between second ranked La Union (10-5) and eighteenth ranked Racing Ch. (4-7) was the most important one in the last round on Friday night. La Union was crushed by Racing Ch. in Chivilcoy 66-87. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Thomas Cooper (196-1992, college: Calgary) who helped to win the game recording 30 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Manuel Rodriguez (203-2002) contributed with 14 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) for the winners. Venezuelan center Windi Graterol (204-1986) answered with 9 points and 13 rebounds for La Union. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Racing Ch. moved-up to sixteenth place. La Union at the other side keeps the second position with five games lost. Racing Ch. are looking forward to face higher ranked Independ.O. (#10) in Olivia in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. La Union will have a break next round.
La Liga top team - Ferro (10-2) added another victory to their record. This time they beat sixteenth ranked Olimpico (4-9) in Buenos Aires 87-83. It was a great evening for who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points and 7 rebounds. Jonatan Torresi helped adding 18 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). At the losing side guard Franco Vieta (194-1992) responded with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Ferro have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They maintain first place with 10-2 record. Olimpico at the other side dropped to the seventeenth position with nine games lost. Ferro will play against Quimsa (#13) in Santiado del Estero in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Olimpico will have a break next round.
The game between twelfth ranked San Martin (7-5) and 11th ranked Platense (7-5) in Corrientes on Friday ended with biggest points difference. San Martin outscored guests from Florida 85-63. It was a quality performance for Salvador Giletto who led the winners and scored 19 points. Derrick Woods came up with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds for Platense in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. San Martin moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Platense. San Martin will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Platense will play against Atenas (#18) and hope to secure a win.

Other games in round 19 were not that significant. Atenas was smashed by Penarol on the road 87-67. Gimnasia lost to Obera on its own court 80-87. La Union outscored Argentino in Formosa 85-66.
