Reizner's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

Spanish Forward Tobias Reizner (203-F) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Obera Tennis Club and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 18.
He had a double-double of 16 points and 16 rebounds, while his team outclassed Boca Jrs. (#15, 4-11) with 30-point margin 97-67. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Obera is placed at 10th position in Argentinian league. Obera is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 6-7 record. It's Reizner's second year at Obera and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Truman State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Reizner is in league's top in rebounds (3rd best: 9.5rpg).

Second best performed player last round was Albano Costa (192-G-2006). He is a guard in his 2nd season at Obera. In the last game Costa recorded an impressive 23 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course together with Reizner he helped Obera Tennis Club with another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Boca Jrs. (#15, 4-11) 97-67. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. But Obera managed to improve slightly their position in standings taking 10th place. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 6-7 record. Costa is well-known at Obera and together with Tobias Reizner he already established his position as one of the team's leaders.

Third place about best performers goes to swingman Jeronimo Maidana (202-G/F-2004) of Atenas Cordoba (#18). Maidana scored 14 points and grabbed 14 rebounds (!!!). Despite Maidana's great performance the Atenas lost 77-88 to the higher-ranked Platense (#9, 7-5). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Atenas can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 3-13 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Maidana has individually a great season in Argentina. After 13 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.3rpg (5th best). Jeronimo Maidana has also Argentinian passport and can play in the league with a status of domestic player.
